Be Aware. Pray.

Islam is not a religion of peace. Between 1979, when the IRGC took over Iran, and April 2024, there were 66,872 Islamist terrorist attacks worldwide. These attacks caused the deaths of at least 249,941 people (fondopol.org), including Americans. If you buy into the propaganda that this is a religion of peace, then you have absolutely zero understanding of the Quron, the Hadith, and the Islamist’s utter dedication to following both toward worldwide subjugation, destruction, and chaos – thus ushering in the return of the Mahdi, the Islamic final world ruler.

It’s no wonder the IRGC is literally spraying rocket and drone attacks all over the middle east – including bombarding countries formerly their friends. It takes a large and crazy splatter of firepower to make that much chaos. Instead of chaos, however – joke’s on them – the entire Mideast (and part of Europe) is gathering together against Iran, and there is mad respect for America over there right now for standing firm. Alliances are being made.

Are there moderate Muslims? Absolutely. Lovely people. Most are cultural Muslims who have never seriously cracked a Quron and would never dream of taking a knife to their neighbor. They cherry-pick all the peaceful-sounding verses out of context and ignore the rest. However, I do think every Muslim should seriously crack a Quran – because if they did, they would have to come to terms with either embracing the violence or abandoning Islam. And, of course, the prescribed penalty for abandoning Islam is death. It’s a tough call. Don’t get caught.

All this to say about the present conflict – the Iranian people are good (mostly non-Muslim) people desperate to escape the terrorist regime holding them in a living nightmare for 47 years. During these years, the IRGC used the wealth of Iran to develop nuclear bombs and ICBMs with the goal of eliminating/conquering both the USA (The Great Satan) and Israel (The Little Satan). That “Death to America” chant? They are so not kidding about that. There are very good America-centric reasons for participating in this conflict. So pray –

Pray for peace in the Mideast. Pray for everyone there – Iran, Israel, everyone. Pray for every Muslim you know and every Muslim you don”t. They need it more than most to find a better way. Pray for peace in America, that the hidden Islamic terror cells here do not activate (but just in case – keep your head on a swivel). Most of all, Pray for a clear head, faithful heart, and that the Lord’s will be done.

Prayer List Update

We have enjoyed watching the Olympics! However, the rest of the world goes on, and here is a very short list of recent events and updates. It’s not warm and fuzzy. Consider adding these to your prayer list.

– Huge wildfire in Jasper, Canada has destroyed much of the town of Jasper. Residents have been evacuated. One firefighter has died.

– After weeks of deadly clashes between thousands of protesters and the military in Bangladesh, the Prime Minister has resigned and fled the country. An interim government has been established.

– The UN’s investigation into UNRWA (UN agency for Palestinian refugees) staff members found evidence that in nine cases employees “may have” been involved in the armed attacks of 7 October 2023. These nine employees have been fired. The UN reports that nine additional staff members have some evidence of involvement, but not enough to fire them.

– Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh has been killed in Iran. Iran is arming proxy forces as a threat to escalate the war against Israel. US is asking Iran to stand down and is sending ships and fighter jets. Hezbollah leader Ali Jamal Aldin Jawad has been eliminated in southern Lebanon. Russian troops have entered Sudan.

– The Inflation Rate in the United States was 3% in June 2024, down from 3.3 % in May. However, consumer price inflation in the United States increased 21.78% from January 2020 to the present, and USDA’s recommended monthly food budget for a family of four has risen 27% since 2020.
